Giving Back. Any Way, By All Means
Ways & Means Oyster House is heavily committed to giving back to the local community.
Annual Oyster Eating Competition
Ways & Means Oyster House hosted 1st annual oyster eating contest in 2016 in Huntington Beach, to benefit local charities where $3 from every oyster eaten will be donated to the winning team’s charity of choice. Every year at each location, Ways & Means hosts this charity event to benefit the local community.
Ausome Sauce was created by Julen, a young man with autism who loves to cook and experiment with different flavors. When he created this sauce, Julen's mother decided to patent it and create an organization where all of the proceeds go to autism research. Ways & Means is proud to have a partnership with the brand and sell the sauce in-house.
Papa's Pilar Rum
Ways & Means Oyster House proudly serves and supports Papa’s Pilar Rum, a rum inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s passion for adventure and a good drink at the end of the day. Papa’s Pilar graciously donates 100% of their proceeds from their rum to various charities of their choice. They select organizations that embody the likes of adventure, literacy & conservation. Ways & Means is proud to be a part of this partnership and be able to support the Hemingway Family’s donations.
Ways & Means participated in the Puppy Hour, hosted by OC Weekly and Tito’s Vodka. $2 of every “Off The Chain” Cocktail was donated to the OC Humane Society.
A week long initiative hosted by Campari® and Imbibe Magazine where proceeds from every Negroni cocktail is donated to a charity of your choice. Ways & Means donating proceeds to the Fuck Cancer organization in Huntington Beach
